Backhouse Rossie is one of only nine private gardens in Scotland to be awarded Partner Garden Status by The Royal Horticultural Society.

Enjoy rare plants in our beautiful RHS Partner Garden.

Explore our wild garlic walk and woodland walk in refreshing dappled shade to discover Covenanters tomb dating from the 1600’s.

Enjoy the Backhouse Heritage Daffodils awarded national Collection status.

Backhouse at Rossie Estate has a wonderful variety of activities for the whole family, such as the Grass Labyrinth, Bear Walk, Nine Hole Putting, Secret Evergreen Grotto and lots more.

You can book tickets for the gardens and special events, or you can arrange a tour of The Flower Barn, our weddings and events venue.

The Backhouse Kitchen (no garden ticket required), offers seasonal food and drinks and welcomes well behaved dogs on the patio.

Free visitor car parking during our open season.
